Pajamas, Waffles, and So Much Love – Wrapping Up a Wonderful Summer at Zion!
What a sweet and silly week we've had! Who says you can't wear cozy pajamas, blast Christmas music, and enjoy homemade waffles in the middle of July? Despite the summer heat trying to melt us, we enjoyed the holiday spirit and had fun together!
The kiddos looked really adorable in their jammies, eyes glued to the TV and sparkling as we listened “Jingle Bells” and "12 Days of Christmas” as if it were December. The homemade waffles were a big hit – fluffy, warm, and topped with all our favorites, from sprinkles to syrup and fruit. It was delicious!
Today, Thursday, is especially bittersweet for me, as it’s my final day teaching here at Zion. I just want to say from the bottom of my heart thank you so much. Thank you for allowing me to love, teach, and grow with your amazing children this summer. I care for them like my own and I’ll never be able to forget how each one stole a piece of my heart.
This summer may have been boiling hot with the ugly humidity, but it flew by. From our mini camps and water play days, to the Bible stories, themed crafts, and of course, the snuggles, every moment counted.
To all the parents and families: thank you once again for your trust, support, and kindness. I truly hope to visit one day and see how your little ones are growing.
Wishing you a joyful rest of summer and a stress-free, exciting start to the school year.
With all my love,
Ms. Brittany
xoxo
