☀️ Toddler Summer Camp Update: Heat Advisory, Water Play & Waffle PJ Day! ☀️
Hi Camp Families!
We hope you're staying cool during this summer heat wave. We wanted to send out a quick update for this week to help you plan ahead:
Most importantly though, we will moving back to our old classroom in the Sonshine building where we were at the beginning of camp. I know there have been a lot of changes and moves, so we apologize for the inconvenience and melt downs, however, this is our last week.
π₯ Heat Advisory Notice
Due to the extreme temperatures forecasted for this week, we are under a heat advisory. We’ll be taking extra precautions to keep your little ones safe and cool throughout the day. Outdoor time will be limited, and we’ll be keeping playtime indoors during peak heat hours. Please be sure to send your child in light, breathable clothing along with their usual water bottle for hydration.
π¦ Water Play Canceled
We know how much our kids love water play days, but due to the heat advisory, we are canceling all water play activities this week to avoid unnecessary exposure to the high temperatures.
π§ Waffle & PJ Day – Wednesday!
Don't forget! This Wednesday is our cozy Waffle and Pajama Day! Send your camper in their favorite pajamas (weather-appropriate ones, please!) and we’ll serve up some yummy waffles for lunch time. Please let me know in advance if you would like to participate in donating items for our waffle day such as whipped cream, sprinkles, syrup, plates, waffle mix, etc. It’s going to be a fun and comfy midweek treat for all.
Thanks for your continued support and understanding as we adjust our schedule to keep everyone safe and happy. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out.
Stay cool!
