Friday Highlights

Hello and happy Friday, parents and families,

It's been quite a week here at camp! Our toddlers dove into a sea of fun, starting with the classic Bible story of Jonah and the Whale. Through storytelling, songs, and games, the kids learned about listening, second chances, and big fishy adventures! The kids absolutely loved the story and had tons of fun playing our themed games like hot potato called waves, whale drawing, and even a fun dance party freeze session. Our special snack included goldfish & graham crackers one day, and Jello and gummy fish another day.

We have some really fun activities and days planned for the last two weeks of camp. We hope you'll vote with us on the fun.

We will distinguish specific days once we have our votes in order. One day, we plan on having a Christmas in July Pajama and Waffle Day. I know that's a lot to take in for one day, but we thought the kiddos would have a blast dressing up in their pajamas while we make waffles for lunch with all sorts of toppings. Don't worry; all food will be appropriate considering allergies and school guidelines. You are more than welcome to pitch in if you want to, but we will also have replacements for those who don't like or want waffles such as cereal, granola bars, etc.

Another day we plan on Movie Day Madness. The toddlers, and parents can vote between 3 choices of movies and once voted by most liked, we will designate ONE movie for that day. Our choices are between Raya and the Dragon, Brave and The Princess and the Frog. Cozy blankets, dim lights, and snacks will make it extra special. (We are told popcorn is not an option but we can instead have goldfish, gummies, etc)

As we wrap up this week, we celebrate with bubbles, stickers, and lots of hugs. Our toddlers may be small, but their joy is BIG. Thanks for sharing your sweet campers with us!

Until next week—stay playful and sunshiny! ☀️πŸ‘Ά

LOVE, MS. BRITTANY AND MS. MEGHAN
