Happy Monday, everyone!
Today was a whirlwind in our class as we enjoyed playing outside with the warm fresh air and learned about a brave man named Daniel and his incredible time with some very big lions!
We kicked off the morning with a little outdoor fun. Back inside, we gathered for circle time, and this week’s Bible story was Daniel in the Lions’ Den. The kids were wide eyed about by the idea of someone being so brave with by lions! We talked about how Daniel trusted God even when things were scary and how God protected him. We then watched the Veggie Tales version of the story the kids enjoyed as well.
We did a lion-themed craft that included all of the kiddos getting to decorate their own little lion.
So, here is to more sunny Mondays, wild imaginations, and gentle reminders that we’re never alone — no matter how big the lions may seem.
