The Bible story for this week is Daniel and the Lions Den. Our theme for today is "Sports Day".
The kids listened as I read the Bible story of Daniel to them and then we watched a story of Daniel on the TV. The kids had a choice of making a basket ball, baseball, or soccer ball for the craft today. We used tissue paper and construction paper to decorate the plates to make the balls.
Tomorrow is "Super Hero Day". Wear your super hero gear - could be a shirt and/or shorts. Your mom or dad could even be your super hero as well. Thursday is "Wacky/Tacky Day" and Friday is "Pink Day".
Have a wonderful rest of your day.
Ms. Terri

After snack time, we were able to go back outside for a little more fun in the sun. Some friends will be carrying home a little more dirt today. A few were hanging out in the rock pit while others were playing on and in the boat that sits by the shed in the dirt.

We were able to get outside this morning and enjoy the beautiful day today. A few friends were playing inside while waiting for more to show up.
We came inside and had some free play time. We worked on our craft for the day as well. The kids had a choice of making a basket ball, soccer ball, or baseball.

The kids are showing their craft they made. There were at least a few soccer balls, basket balls, and baseballs.
We had some free play time before lunch. After a short time, we watched a Pete the Cat story and then did some dancing to the Trolls music from the movie. Getting out the wiggles before lunch. Some of the kids preferred to be sitting down and dancing while others just took a bit to warm up to dancing.
