Bible Story- David and Goliath
Theme- Eric Carle
Since it was too rainy to go outside, we started the day by coloring pictures of David and Goliath.
Then we did some playing on the train table and climber.
Next was morning meeting time where we watched a short clip about David and Goliath and danced.
We read books on our own and then read "The Very Busy Spider" by Eric Carle together.
For the craft today, we glued down a stream and put 5 rocks in it like David got to defeat Goliath. We also added the slingshot David used.
Some kids made their end of the summer picture frame today, while others will do theirs tomorrow.
We did a little bit more playing before dancing, washing hands, and eating lunch.
