Bible Story- David and Goliath
Theme- Eric Carle (we will be reading Eric Carle books and doing Eric Carle inspired artwork)

The rain kept us inside all day so we played for a while this morning before morning meeting.

During morning meeting we read the story of David and Goliath and then watched a short clip about it. We also sang and danced to our Jesus songs.

After snack time, everyone read books patiently waiting for all of our classmates to finish eating.

Today we read "Baby Bear, Baby Bear, What Do You See?" by Eric Carle. We had fun making the sounds of the animal we found on each page.

For the craft we filled David's bag with 5 stones and tied it with a string. We talked about how David beat Goliath because of God's help. I was so impressed by everyone's ability to weave the yarn through the hole in the bag.

Then we played for a while more before lunchtime. The climber was very popular today, and we also had lots of cooks in our class. We also sang some songs like the wheels on the bus, the itsy bitsy spider, and Jesus loves me from our song tub.
