Bible Story - Daniel and the Lions Den
Theme for today - Wacky/Tacky Day

Today we watched a Veggie Tale about Daniel and then listened to a few silly songs of Veggie Tales.  We didn't go outside first thing this morning as the grass was being mowed.  We did get to go out after snack time and get some fresh air. We did stay out of the mud too.  We came back in and played and listened to music while waiting turns to make a Lion mask.

There were a few wacky/tacky dressed friends today.  Tomorrow is our "Pink" day (color day).  If you don't have anything pink, you can wear any color close to it.

Ms. Maddie will be back on Monday.  Thank you all for bearing with me trying to get the blog figured out and allowing me to teach your children this week.  I will be back to being an aide Monday.

Being the mowing service was outside on our playground, we stayed in this morning and played with friends and toys.

We had a visitor on our playground when we went outside after snack.  The rabbit sat there for a bit just eating the grass and watching us. 

Getting outside to play.  The rock pit wasn't as wet as I had thought.  We did try to stay out of the dirt areas of the playground.  Some of my friends were running around the big boat to try and catch each other. I think they wore themselves out more than anything.

We worked on making our Lion masks after coming in from outside.  While waiting turns to make their own, the kids played toys or climbed on the climber.  There were books to read as well. We listened to Children's music while doing this.  A few friends were dancing to the music as well.

Eli modeled his mask for me.  The masks turned out very cute.  Had to wait for them to dry or would have tried to get everyone together to take a picture of the group.
