Bible Story - Daniel and the Lions Den
Theme - Super Héros

Today we listened to a song about Daniel.  We talked more about how Daniel was saved by God.  The lions didn't eat Daniel.  As today was "Super Hero Day" we made a super hero puppet out of a paper sack and construction paper.  There were several Super Heroes in the room today -  Super Girl, Superman, Captain America, one with several heroes and even Batman. We also were able to make masks - the 3 year old teacher had some extra ones she had purchased and gave us each one to make.  So we were able to make 2 crafts today. I forgot to get pictures of the kids as we made the puppets and masks. I wanted to get a picture of each one wearing their mask but some of them had to be glued and didn't dry in time.  Sorry.

Tomorrow is "Wacky/Tacky Day".  Wear your wild and crazy clothes. Friday is "Pink" Day.  If you don't have anything pink, you can wear something close in color.

Out on the playground we went.  It was a beautiful morning to be out, the weather was nice and cooler than yesterday.  

Before going inside, the kids line up by the door to make sure we have all our friends.  These friends decided to hold hands and go around in a circle. We teach the kids to play together and be kind to each o

After coming inside, we have some free play time before our circle time.  The kids can play wth blocks, read books or color sheets.

 

Playing outside after our snack.  The kids played on the big boat, played in the rock pit and rode the kiddy cars and rode the trikes around the path.

I did get a picture of one mask we made.  A few of the masks had to be glued and the rest were just peel and stick.  

While making our crafts this morning, we listened to Disney music and a few of my friends were dancing to the beat.
