This week our bible story is about Daniel and the Lions Den.  We watched a video about how Daniel was thrown into a lions den for praying to God.  Daniel was saved because he believed in God and was not eaten.  We also made a picture of a lion by using a fork to paint the mane of the lion.  Today was "Movie Day" so we watched an episode of Paw Patrol.

Tomorrow is "Sport Day" so wear something with your favorite sport or team.  The Cardinals are my favorite team so I will be wearing a shirt to show that.  I can't wait to see what team or sport everyone wears.  Remember Wednesday is "Superhero Day"; Thursday is "Wacky Tacky Day"; and Friday is "Class Color" which we are pink so wear some shade of pink.

Have a wonderful week,
Ms. Terri

We were able to go outside a bit early this morning to play before starting our day.  After playing outside for a bit, we came in to do some puzzles and play on the climber.

Circle time we watched the video of Daniel and the Lions Den.  The story was about how Daniel was praying to God and some of the prophets did not like that and asked the King to make a law that did not allow people to pray.  They then went to find Daniel praying and told the King.  He had no choice but to throw Daniel in the lions den because of this law.  Daniel was saved from being eaten because of his faith in God.

After snack, there was a little time for reading while waiting for everyone to finish up before heading back outside for a little more playtime before crafts and our movie for the day.

We came inside to work on our craft, making the mane for our lion using a fork and dipping it into the paint to make the fur around the face.  The kids all had fun using the fork as a paint brush.

As today was "Movie Day", we watched an episode of Paw Patrol.  Everyone sat quietly and watched the movie.  There were even dinosaurs in this episode which the boys really liked.

Before we ate lunch, we did some dancing to get moving from all the sitting the movie.  They all have some different moves.
