This week we are learning about the Good Samaritan. The theme is Community Helpers.
Today we combined both ELP camp classes due to having a low number of kids. We were able to go outside and play for a while first thing this morning. It was nice enough to be out for a change. We came in for snack and after snack listened to some music while we were getting the crafts ready to work on. The kids used the bingo dobbers to color the fireman page. We also decorated a shield showing that God is our protector and watching over us. The kids did some dancing to music before we read our story of the Good Samaritan. After the story, we were ready to have lunch.
Sitting with friends to listen to the bible story for this week. We talked about how two different men walked by before the third person stopped to help the man.
