Bible story - David and Goliath. Theme - crosses
Today was Chapel. I did not make it in today until after Chapel. My class spent the early morning with Miss Maddie's class. They played in the room until time to go to Chapel. Some of my friends colored a picture of David and Goliath. After Chapel, Miss Maddie picked up sugar cookies and icing for our snack. I was here in time for snack. The cookies looked good. We put icing and sprinkles before handing them out. The kids were still hungry so they ate some of their snack that they had brought. We listened to the story of David and Goliath and some music afterwards. They played on the climber and with the blocks. Due to the heat starting back up, we went to the gym to play with friends from the other class. They ran and played together. We had out hoops, big and small as well as the balls. I did notice some friends sharing toys and playing together nicely. Preschool friends started to come in and played with us for a bit. We came back to the room and did some dancing to Baby Shark and Tooty Ta before lunch to wind down.

I love to watch the little ones dancing to music. They have their own rhythm.

Our time in the gym. They are happy when the hoops (big and little ones) as well as the balls are out. Some of the kids just want to run and play with friends while others chase the hoops or balls.
The kids talked me into Baby Shark again. We also listened to the song about Going on a Bear Hunt. Some friends did the motions to the song. It is a cute song about looking for a bear.
