Happy Wednesday.  It is the end of our week and tomorrow is the 4th.  Today was the last day of Joseph and his coat of many colors.  Next week we will be talking about the Good Samaritan. Our theme will be Community Helpers.  It goes along with our bible story.

Both of the ELP rooms were combined today being we had a low count of kids.  We used bingo dobbers to color the American flag and used toilet paper rolls cut on the end to make the fireworks display we see at night on the 4th. We went to Chapel this morning and the message was on the Good Samaritan.  After snack and listening to the story of Joseph, we worked on finishing our crafts so we could to go play in the gym for a bit.  It has been too hot and humid to go outside for long.

Working on our dobber art - using the dobber to color the American Flag.

After Chapel, we took a group picture of our little ones by the altar.

Listening to the story of Joseph on the TV.

Working on our fireworks display picture.

Working on a puzzle and just hanging out while everyone gets ready to head to the gym.

In the gym, the preschoolers were there.  Some of our kids had siblings in the preschool classes and were able to play with them.  The bigger kids played with our little ones, sharing the hoops and balls.

We were in the Commons waiting for the rest of our friends to come out of the gym.  The kids put their hands on their heads to make moose ears.  After we were all together, we washed our hands in the hall before heading back to our room for lunch.

Miss Heather from the other class read a story about the American Flag to us.
