Bible Story - Jonah and the Whale. Theme for the week is Animals.
Today was another beautiful day. We worked on our craft and played with the toys early this morning. Our craft today was Jonah in the Whale's belly. The kids colored the whale with markers and I cut a flap in the belly of the whale so you could see Jonah praying in the belly. We went to Chapel this morning and Mr. Marolf, our assistant principal for Zion school, did the message for us. After Chapel, we ate our snack and listened to some bible songs. The kids sat on the blue carpet to listened to a story of Jonah on the TV. On to the playground after that, the kids were so happy to get outside and play. We haven't been able to get out there for a while due to the heat. The kids were worn out when we came back in. They came in got a drink of water and did a little dancing before listening to a Pete the Cat story about missing muffins.
Waiting patiently for me to get the craft ready to do.

Before we listened to a Pete the Cat story, they had to dance to Baby Shark. They really like that song and I love to watch them do the actions from beginning to end.

Coloring the whale. The whales turned out very colorful. Some of the kids chose to use multiple colors on their whale.
Friends holding hands going to and from Chapel this morning. It is always nice to see some of the older friends helping younger ones.
On the playground finally. The weather cooperated and we could go out without being too hot. There was a lot of sharing and playing together today. We enjoyed the sunshine.
