Joseph and the coat of many colors.  This has been our bible story for this short week.  We watched a new video about Joseph and listened to another song.

This morning we worked on our paint project so it would have time to dry before going home.  We used marbles to paint pictures of what it might look like at dark with all the fireworks going off.  We took the marbles, dipped them in paint and put them in a closed box with black paper.  The kids shook the box around to get the marbles moving around.  The end result is the art project going home.  Kona Ice Truck came to visit us and gave us all snow cones to eat.  We were able to put on our own syrup so some of my little friends have a little clown face.  It was very tasty in the heat.  We did a little dancing while we cleaned up everything and then went to the gym to play.  They wore out fast, running and playing with friends.

Working on our art project.  We had to shake the box up and down and side to side to make our picture.  The marbles didn't want to move too well so we had to do some serious shaking.

Julia was reading the story about "No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed".  I was listening to her tell the story and the kids were doing the actions to the story.

They were watching the story of Joseph.

Eating our snow cones while relaxing in lawn chairs with friends.  Got a little on the messy side, but we had wet wipes to help clean off. A yummy treat on a hot day.

Gym time - wearing off the snow cone treat.  We did some running and playing.  The kids were tired toward the end of playing in the gym and ready to line up and head back to the classrooms for lunch.
