Bible story for the week - Daniel and the Lion's Den - theme is Dinosaurs.
Today is day 2 of Spirit Week. Today was your favorite team sport. I saw St. Louis Blues and Cardinals wear today. Some of the kids played with blocks and on the climber while waiting for more to show. We colored a little book on Daniel and used markers to color a picture of Daniel. We listened to the story of Daniel on the TV this morning and a little dancing music after that to make sure everyone got some of the wiggles out. The kids sat at the tables and made pictures with dinosaur stickers. It is quite interesting to see where the dinosaurs went. We were able to go to the gym and play for a bit until some of the older classes came in. We came back to our room with the other class and danced to a few songs before lunch.
Playing in different centers until time to color or paint their pictures.
It can take a lot of concentration to put the stickers in the right spot for some. Others just like to do stickers.
Playing in the gym is fun when you have balls and hoops to play with. Some of the older classes started coming in and they played with the little ones. It was nice to see them sharing. Some of the little one's brothers and/or sisters came in and they were excited to see them.
