Bible story - Good Samaritan and theme for week - Community Leaders
Happy Friday everyone. Both ELP rooms combined today in the front room instead. Our little bathroom is being painted today so we got to hang out in the front room. We played in the room with various toys that to us seem new. Some of the kids were able to make their craft using the hand to make a heart before we had snack. Our snack was the Cupcake War - the kids each decorated their cupcakes with sprinkles. After the cupcakes were decorated, we went outside to eat our cupcakes. It was a messy snack but very good. We even left a few crumbs for the ants and birds to have a treat. We came back inside after snack as it was getting hot again. The kids who had not finished their craft for the day completed it and we listened to music and did some dancing before going to the gym to run for a bit.
New room means new toys to us. So many different toys to check out.

We sat at picnic tables outside for snack. As you can tell from the pictures, it was very messy. There was icing all around the mouth and nose of some while others got icing in the hair and even one had icing up the arms. It was pretty good.

Our cake decorating skills tested. It was very tempting to eat the sprinkles instead of decorating the cupcake.

We went up to the gym for a short time just to run and burn off the sugar from the cupcake snack. Some of my friends are very fast runners. It was just nice to go to the gym and run in the cool building.
