Bible story for this week is Good Samaritan - theme is Community Workers.
Today since our class was so small we combined with the other ELP room. The kids played in the classroom until time to go to Chapel. In Chapel, our bible message was about Zacchaeus. After Chapel, we came back to the classroom and got ready for snack. When snack was over, the kids were able to play games, puzzles or any free choice while supplies were gotten out and ready to make. The kids listened to music while they waited to work on their craft. It was too hot to go outside and the bigger kids were using the gym for a friendly Nerf war so we stayed inside where it was so much cooler. I was hoping to do some bingo dobber art but not enough time. Hoping tomorrow it will work out to do. We watched a video on the Good Samaritan with our friends from the other room.
On our way to Chapel. I have also seen more of my little friends holding hands with some of the smaller ones when we go out on a walk, on the playground or even to Chapel. It is a wonderful site to see the older ones helping some of the smaller ones even if it is just taking a walk or doing a puzzle.
Both classrooms playing together in our room. Some kids were playing in different areas while others were dancing to music playing. Working on our craft too - the kids made a firetruck using different shapes.
Watching our bible story on TV. The kids were starting to wear down and were getting hungry.

Our class consisted of 5 kids today. They played very well together and did some sharing with each other. Adrianna and Theo worked on a puzzle together. I have noticed this more lately that the kids are tending to work on puzzles together to solve.
