This week we will be learning about Joshua and walls of Jericho. Today we read the story about Joshua and how they went around the walls for 7 days. On the last day, they went around the wall and they shouted and the priests blew the horns. The walls fell down.
We had open play this morning. Some chose to play with the blocks, trains, the kitchen area, read books or just color a picture. We made our own version of a horn. We made kazoos out of toilet paper rolls and wax paper. The children made noises with their kazoos and our wall of blocks came down.
We played outside for a while today being it was so pretty out.
Such a beautiful day to play outside. We enjoyed the sun and fresh air while playing.
