First thing this morning we went out to the playground because we wanted to beat the heat. After that, we came inside to eat our delicious snacks. We went on a scavenger hunt around the school to pick up pieces of paper that we scattered around. Instead of going back outside, we went into the gym to play! Some of them got a little tired and had to the lay on the floor (you will see in the picture). Our craft for the day was to glue colorful pieces of paper on to the wall of Jericho. After lunch, we were surprised with ice cream. The children got to choose whether they wanted plain vanilla or a topping of sprinkles or chocolate chips. Things got a little messy but they all enjoyed it!
